Gorilla Glue: good for wood, bad for dogs

Gorilla glue* is a very powerful all-purpose glue that expands while curing. It also has an attractive smell and is VERY TASTY to dogs.  This glue is a semi-clear and amber colored.

Unfortunately, the glue expands inside the poor pooches that ingest it causing a large obstruction in the stomach which must be surgically removed.

Needless to say, the best idea is to KEEP GORILLA GLUE WAY, WAY, WAY FAR AWAY AND OUT OF REACH OF DOGS AT ALL TIMES!!!

If you suspect that your dog has ingested Gorilla Glue, phone your veterinarian immediately.

*The Gorilla Glue name may be on other types of glues that do not have these expanding properties.  Also, when used properly, dried/cured glues will not continue to expand.  Be cautious of what types of uncured glues you have around your pets.
